Harmala says that he requested the Prophet ﷺ to advise him on good conduct. The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Harmala You should practise virtue and refrain from evil, and beware, if you want people to talk well of you behind your back you should be of good character and refrain from such (evils) with which you would not like to be associated." (Bukhari)
Abu Dharr Ghiffari reports that he asked the Prophet ﷺ which of the acts was excellent and of the right standard. The Prophet ﷺ replied, "To believe in God and to exert in His path." He again asked which kind of slaves it was better to free. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Those whose price is high and who are good in their master's eyes." He asked if he was unable to do that and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Then help some worker to do the work of the man who himself is unable to do it properly". He again asked if he was unable to do even that. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not give trouble to anyone and that will be an act of charity which will be rewarded.” (Bukhari & Muslim)
Malik says that the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said that he had been sent with the mission of elevating good manners to the level of perfection. (Muatta of Imam Malik)
Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas says that the Prophet ﷺ never uttered an obscene word all his life, nor indulged in any obscene act, nor spoke ill of anyone and used to say that the best among men were those whose manners were good. (Bukhari & Muslim)
Abu Huraira reports that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "It is also a virtue if you bring about reconciliation between two persons. Also if you give a lift on your conveyance to another or put his luggage on your conveyance, or say a soothing word, and every step that you take while going to prayer is virtue and to remove a thorn or any other offensive material from the path is also virtue." (Bukhari)
Abu Umama reports that the Prophet ﷺ had said that simplicity in life was part of the faith. (Abu Daud)
Ata bin Yasar says that once while the Prophet ﷺ was sitting in the mosque a man came whose hair was dishevelled. The Prophet ﷺ pointed at him with his hand which was meant to direct him to go and have his hair combed. The man went out and returned with his hair properly arranged and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Is it not better than disarranged hair giving one the appearance of Satan." (Muatta of Imam Malik)
Abul Ahwas reports from his father who went to the Prophet ﷺ in an inferior and cheap dress and the Prophet ﷺ asked him if he had no worldly possessions. Father said, "Yes". The Prophet asked, "What possessions?" Father said, "God has given me wealth in cows, sheep, horses and slaves." The Prophet said, "The mark of the benevolence of God should be visible on your body." (Mishkat quoting from Ahmad & Nasai)
Amara says that A'isha was asked about the Prophet's ﷺ activities at home and she said that he was a man among men, he used to pick out lice from his clothes and milked his goats." (al-Adab al-Mufrad)
It is reported from A'isha that the Prophet ﷺ had said that the most commendable practice in religion was what was done regularly and with constancy. (Bukhari & Mishkat) 
It is reported from Jabir that the Prophet ﷺ had said that completion of a good turn is better than starting it." (al-Mu'jam as-Saghir of Tabrani)
It is reported from Abdullah bin Umar that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "Among the trees, there is one which never sheds its leaves and this is the example of the Muslims." Then the Prophet ﷺ asked which that tree was. While people's minds turned to the trees growing wild, I thought of the date palm, but I felt reluctant to take the lead before my elders. People then requested the Prophet ﷺ to tell them and he said that it was the date tree." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Abdullah bin Masud says that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "No one who has an iota of pride in his heart will be admitted to paradise." One of those present asked if anyone wished to have good shoes and good clothes. (Was that also pride and will it debar the man from paradise) The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is not pride. God is pure and likes purity. Pride means not to submit to God's demand of obedience and to look down upon His servants." (Muslim) 
Haritha bin Wahab says that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "The proud man will not be admitted to paradise, or the braggart." (Abu Daud)
Abdullah bin Umar says that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "On the Day of Judgement oppression' will be darkness for the oppressors." (Unanimous)
Aus bin Shurahbil says that he heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "One who supports an oppressor and strengthens him knowing that he is oppressor, has gone out of Islam." (Mishkat quoting from Baihaq'i in Shu'ab al-lman)
Abu Huraira reports that the Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you know who is really insolvent and poor?" Those present said that the poor man was one who did not possess money or any other resources. The Prophet ﷺ said that in his community the insolvent and the poor was one who would go before God on the Day of Judgement with his record of prayers, fasts and Zakat, but at the same time had abused someone in the world, had blamed someone, had misappropriated someone's property, had killed someone or had unjustly beaten anyone. Then all his virtues would be distributed among his victims. And if his virtues were exhausted with the claims of his victims still unsettled, the faults of those victims would be transferred to his account and he would be thrown into hell." (Muslim)
Ali says that the Prophet ﷺ had said: "Beware of the cry of the oppressed, as he demands his right from God and God does not deprive anyone of his rights." (Mishkat quoting from Baihaqi in Shu'ab al­ lman)
Abdullah bin Amr reports that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "The person who possesses four attributes is the greatest hypocrite and if anyone has one of them he shall have one quality of hypocrisy unless he gives it up. These attributes are that if anything is entrusted to him he misappropriates, and when he talks he tells lies and when he makes a promise he breaks it and lastly when he quarrels with anyone he begins to abuse him." (Bukhari & Muslim)
It is indirectly reported from Amr bin Maimun Awdi that the Prophet ﷺ while admonishing a person directed him, "You should take advantage of five things before the other five of your young age before old age, your health before your illness, your prosperity before your poverty, your leisure before your engagement and your life before your death." (Mishkat quoting from Tirmidhi)
Abu Huraira reports that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The traveller, who fears that he will be stranded on the way and will not reach his destination in time, will not sleep in the night and start on his journey in the early part of the night. One who does so will reach his destination in time. Listen, God's treasure will be gained at a high price. Listen, God’s treasure is paradise." (Tirmidhi)
It is reported from Abu Huraira that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "Not a day passes when two angels do not descend by order of God; one praying for the servant who spends in the path of God saying, 'O God, give rich reward to the generous and the other cursing the miser, saying, 'O God, destroy the miser'." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Abdullah bin Mas'ud reports that the Prophet ﷺ asked, "Which of you holds his heir's wealth dearer than his own?" The companions said, "Every one of us holds his own possession dearer." The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Only that wealth is yours which you send ahead and what you leave behind is the property of heirs'." (Bukhari & Muslim)
It is reported from Abu Huraira that.. then the Prophet ﷺ referred to the case of the man who after a long journey (reached a sacred place) with his hair dishevelled and his body covered with dust and he raised his hands towards heaven and prayed 'O my Lord my Lord..' while his condition was that his food was haram (ill-gotten) his drink was haram, his dress was haram and he had been reared on food from tainted sources. How could his prayer be granted?" (Muslim)
Rafe' bin Khadij reports that the Prophet ﷺ was asked which of the earnings was best? The Prophet said, "That earned by working with one's own hands and through trade in which the merchant refrains from dishonesty and falsehood." (Mishkat quoting from Ahmad)
Abu Sa'id Khudri reports that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "Honest dealers and trustworthy merchants will be raised with the prophets, the sincere (lovers of truth) and the witnesses (who testify) on the Day of Judgement." (Tirmidhi)
Abu Qatada reports that the Prophet ﷺ while warning traders had said, "Do not swear too much in selling your commodity. This may advance trade for some time but must lose blessing in the end." (Muslim)
Abu Huraira says that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "God ordains, 'O progeny of Adam, spend on my poor servants, I will spend on you." (Bukhari & Muslim)
It is reported from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "Charity cools the anger of God and guards against evil death." (Tirmidhi)
Mus'ab bin Sa'd says that Sa'd considered himself superior to humbler men, but the Prophet ﷺ said, "Men get sustenance from God on account of the poor people." (Bukhari)
It is reported from Abdullah bin Umar that the Prophet ﷺ when he went on the pulpit and spoke on charity and refraining from begging, said, "The upper hand is better than the lower. The upper hand is that of the giver and the lower that of the receiver." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Abu Dharr Ghifari says that once he went to the Prophet ﷺ while he was sitting in the shade of the Ka’ba, he called him and said, "By the Lord of Ka’ba they are in great loss." I said O Messenger of Allah, I scarify my father and mother on you. The Prophet ﷺ replied, "They are the wealthy people, except those spending (in charity) lavishly, but they are not many." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Jabir says that the Prophet ﷺ had said. "Every good act is charity and this is also goodness and piety that you meet your brother with smiling face or fill his vessel with your bucket." (Ahmad & Tirmidhi)
It is reported from Abu Musa Ash'ari that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "Charity is prescribed for every believer." People asked, "If a man has nothing to give in charity?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He should earn by his labour, sustain himself and give in charity," People again asked, "If one cannot do this?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He should help a distressed and needy person." People said, "If that too is not possible?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He should refrain from evil and mischief, this is also charity." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Is reported from Abu Huraira that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "The most perfect believer among you is one whose temper is sweetest." (Abu Daud & Darimi)
Anas bin Malik said that hardly ever the Prophet ﷺ delivered a sermon in which he did not emphasise, "The man who has no trust has no faith and the man who is not true to his promise has no religion." (Baihaqi in Shu’ab al-lman)
Suhaib Rumi says that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "A believer has a remarkable distinction. All his acts are good. It is the distinction of the believer alone that he thanks God for any joy that he comes upon (and it is good for him) and bears it patiently if he comes to some trouble (and this also is good for him)." (Muslim)
