CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES OF ISLAM

• It is the fastest growing religion.
• Countless numbers of previously non-Muslim intellectuals converted to Islam, and the list is still growing by the day.
• It is a comprehensive system of life which encompasses spiritual, religious, social, economic, legal and judicial, and political aspects of the society.
• The Qur’an was proven to include scientific facts that were only discovered recently, and which were previously unknown.
• The Qur’an is the only Divine Scripture which has been preserved since the time of revelation.
• The Qur’an is the only book memorized verbatim.
• Muslims gave special attention to every act and statement of Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings of Allah be to him) and developed a reliable unprecedented, systematic methodology to compile and document the Sunnah (tradition) of Prophet Mohammed.
• The first pillar of Islam is to declare the “Shahadah”, which is the declaration that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.
